Questions, answered

ICSE parents ask us this.

Which grades does Abhyaas cover for ICSE?

ICSE Grades 1 to 10, aligned to the CISCE syllabus. Grades 11 and 12 follow the ISC curriculum, which Abhyaas does not support yet — the ICSE page is built for the 1 to 10 journey up to the board exam.

How does subject selection work for Grades 8–10?

ICSE uses subject groups at the secondary stage. English is compulsory, and your child chooses their other subjects from the ICSE groups — for example two from a group with History & Civics, Geography, Economics and Commercial Studies, and one from a group with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Computer Applications. You make that choice once at setup, and only those subjects load — so the app shows what your child actually studies, not everything on offer.

Is it aligned to the CISCE / ICSE syllabus?

Yes. Coverage follows the CISCE syllabus for ICSE, Grades 1 to 10. You pick the grade and the current subjects and chapters load automatically, described at the subject level — the exact chapter list appears inside the app.

Are there ICSE practice tests?

Yes. Chapter-wise and unit-test practice for every grade, auto-graded, with a mistake log that shows exactly which topics need another revision before the ICSE exams.

What if my school's chapter order is different?

You stay in control. After the curriculum loads you can reorder, rename or deactivate any chapter so it matches exactly what your child is being taught this year.
